What is the Building Stronger Communities Council?

The Building Stronger Communities Council (BSCC) serves as the Community Collaborative for Clinton County, Michigan.  The role of a Community Collaborative is to address issues that impact the lives of children, families and special populations in their area.  They accomplish their role through identifying a common vision.

The vision of the BSCC is:

Our collaboration builds and supports a stronger, healthier and safer community. 

The mission of the BSCC is to develop and maintain interagency support and collaboration in order to foster and safeguard a comprehensive and effective human service network to improve and enrich the quality of life in Clinton County.

This mission is accomplished by sharing information and resources, and by community planning that targets common goals and gaps in necessary services.
